He is survived by: his children, Steve Bales (Phyllis), Cheryl Dickerson (Steve) and Doug Bales (Mary); his grandchildren, Amanda Bales, Josh Piper (Sabrina), Amy Jones (Chris), Emily Anderson (A. J.), Wyatt Bales and Krissy Elkins; his great grandchildren, Colton Piper, Kinsley Higgins, Brookelyn Piper, Avery Anderson, Audrey Anderson, Waylen Jones, Logan Shepard, Connor Wallace, Katie Jones, Abi Jones and Lydia Jones; and his sister Karen Bales-Simpson.
