He was predeceased by: his wife Jerlean Shaffer Franklin. He is survived by: his daughter Toni Morgan; his grandchildren, Kelsey VanLannen, Alyssia Pitts, Kaitlynn Morgan and Megan Bowman; his sister Cora Weger; and his brothers-in-law, William "Pete" Pitts, Jack Pitts (Sue) and Dean Pitts. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, March 18th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM at the Fitzpatrick Funeral Home (220 North 3rd Street, West Terre Haute, IN 47885).
