He was predeceased by: his parents, Edward "Junior" Padgett and Mary Padgett. He is survived by: his girlfriend Rita Dawson; his son Mathew Thomas (Brittany); his grandchildren, Brandon, Thomas and Summer Thomas; and his siblings, Pearl Thomas (John), Sue Roberts (Rick), Elvis Padgett (Connie), Tom Padgett (Becky), Kathy Parsons (Chuck), Leona Taylor (Bob), Robert Padgett (Marsha), Mary Padgett, Rose Switzer (Gary), Mike Padgett (Rex), Michelle Lee (Tyron), Brian Padgett (Eddie), Don Padgett (Becky) and John Padgett (Paula).
Visitation was held on Tuesday, March 4th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Fitzpatrick Funeral Home (220 North 3rd Street, West Terre Haute, IN 47885). A funeral service was held on Tuesday, March 4th 2025 at 12:00 PM at the same location.
If friends so desire, donations can be made to the family to offset expenses.
