He was predeceased by: his sister Jan Kleyla. He is survived by: his wife Marilou C. Smith; his daughters, Alycia Smith of West Middleton and Skye Smith of Gas City; his stepson John Bugayong of Baguio City; his siblings, Judy Hallett (Jerry) of Indianapolis and Dewey Smith (Barb) of Wabash; his brother-in-law John Kleyla of Elwood; and also Philippines. He is also survived by eight grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
