She was predeceased by: her parents, Oris Phelps and Annie Phelps (Jones); and her siblings, Lester, Letha, Hazel, Irene, Stella and Louise.
She is survived by: her spouse Harold Dwain Thompson; her daughters, Vickie Miles and Connie Foster; her sister Phyllis Taylor of Lafayette, IN; her grandchildren, Adam Miles, Andrea Tullos, Abbie Russell and Stacey Sharp; and her great grandchildren, Bryan James Tullos, Kirby Scott Tullos, Mason Drew Tullos, Lacy Alyse Tullos, Scarlett Harper Vij, Sawyer Emmerson "Emme" Vij, Walter Gene Miles and Hazel Elizabeth Lynn Miles.
