William Emil Jansky Obituary
We are sad to announce that on August 11, 2022, at the age of 67, William Emil Jansky of West Lafayette, Indiana, born in Chicago, Illinois passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Emil Jansky and Frances Jansky; his significant other Jo Ann Jansky; his son Lorne Akins; his granddaughter Cheyanne Akins; and his siblings, Laura, Linda, Diane, Donald, Frankie and Chuckie.
He is survived by: his children, Gretchen Robbins (John) of Bridgman, Carrie Cardone (Richard) of New Buffalo, Jessica Gatilff (Cole) of Wanatah, Indiana and Rich Akins (Erica) of Lafayette, Indiana; and his siblings, Elizabeth Byers, Edward Jansky, Ron Jansky (Pam) and David Jansky (Lanelle). He is also survived by fourteen grandchildren; several great grandchildren.
