It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Willa Joan Tharp of West Lafayette, Indiana, born in Fort Wayne, Indiana, who passed away on September 29, 2020, at the age of 95, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Albert Smith and Orpha Smith (Davis) of Ft. Wayne, IN.; her former husband Preceding; her brothers, Victor and Norman; and her grandson Christopher Tharp.
She is survived by: her sons, Ken (Kristen), David (Connie) and Jim (Barbara); her grandchildren, Lindsey Harrelson (Caleb), Andrew Tharp and Ellie Tharp; her great grandchildren, Cora, Finn and Xavi; her sisters, Leila Parks and Marilyn Jones; and her husband Donald. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
