She was predeceased by: her father James J. Muller Sr.; and her siblings, Joseph Muller, James Muller Jr. and Mary Rutledge. She is survived by: her husband James F. Russell Sr.; her children, Nancy Hawthorne (Gary), James F. Russell, Jr. and Virginia Brinson; her grandchildren, Mark Brinson (Jessica), Samantha Fridlund (Adam) and Bryan Brinson (Kelly); her great grandchildren, Kate, Hayden and Carter Brinson; her grandchildren, Nora, James Fridlund, Everett and Harper Brinson; her sister Rita Fischer; and her sister-in-law Susan Muller. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
