It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Stanley Oren Montgomery of West Lafayette, Indiana, born in Franklin, Indiana, who passed away on June 2, 2020, at the age of 85, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Paul E. Montgomery and Susie M. Montgomery (Fields); his wife Theresa Marie Montgomery (Burnett); his son Daniel F. Montgomery; his grandson Daniel Montgomery-Heady; and his siblings, Nina Wallace, Paul E. Montgomery, Jr., John N. Montgomery, Norma Jean Birdwell, Carol Ann Guidry, Ronald Montgomery and Lillian Joyce Montgomery-Foultz.
He is survived by: his children, Stanley Montgomery Jr. (Pam), Norma Eugenia "Jeannie" Holland, Alisa Montgomery, Theresa St. Laurent (Clayton) and Donna Montgomery. He is also survived by 10 grandchildren, 19 great grandchildren; and a significant number of nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to an organization dear to Stanley's heart, the Boys and Girls Clubs of America, in honor of Stanley Montgomery, Sr.
