Shirley Melton Obituary
We are sad to announce that on August 25, 2020, at the age of 89, Shirley Melton of West Lafayette, Indiana, born in Albany, New York passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, J. M. Stanley and Leona Stanley (Griswold); her husband James Duane Melton; her sons, Paul Stanley Randall and Mark Leigh Randall; and her sister Jerry Draper.
She is survived by: her children, Lydia Strong (Jim) of West Lafayette and Rev. John A. Randall (Marsha) of West Lafayette; her stepchildren, Polly Melton, Nancy Wubenhorst, Sarah Melton and David Melton; and her grandchildren, Christina Randall, Klarisa Quackenbush (Christopher), Jonathan Catron and Matthew Strong. She is also survived by several great grandchildren and step grandchildren.
Memorial donations may be made to Otterbein United Methodist Church in loving memory of Shirley.
