She was predeceased by: her parents, Parker Fultz and Ruth Fultz (Bair); and her husband Cecil Helmerick. She is survived by: her children, Christine Denz (David) of Wheaton, IL, Cynthia King (Jeff) of Franklin, TN and Scott Hodges (Phillip Nunēz) of Ukiah, CA; her stepchildren, Jeff Helmerick (Jackie) of West Lafayette, Sandra Richeson (Dirk) of Lafayette and Susan DeLong (Kenneth) of Lafayette; and her close friend Harry Hirschl. She is also survived by great- grandchildren.
