He was predeceased by: his parents, Sam Booker and Lillie Mae McGhee; and his siblings, John Ruffin, Julia Ruffin, Wilma Ruffin and Bessie Booker.
He is survived by: his wife Betty Foster; his son Darrell McGhee (Jennifer); his siblings, Luke Booker (Brenda), Eddie Booker (Thelma), Paul Booker (Lee), Thomas Booker (Lasandra), Trina Booker Moody (Eddie), Hittie Booker Adams (Bill), Sammie Booker (Mary), Candy Booker, Mary Williams (James), Juanita Booker Pearson (Jessie), Debra Jones (Joel Barr), Wonda Ruffin and Alice Ruffin; his grandchildren, Kendrick, Chuancey, Bryson and Riley; and also, Miles Kuhn (LaVonna), Benjamin and Bryce.
In lieu of usual remembrances, contributions may be directed to the American Heart Association or the Word of Life Church.
