Robert S. Sorensen Obituary
We are sad to announce that on April 19, 2021, at the age of 80, Robert S. Sorensen in West Lafayette, Indiana, born in Stoughton, Wisconsin passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Sidney Sorensen and Lillian Sorensen. He is survived by: his wife Linda Markins of Gaston; his siblings, John and Marilyn Sorensen Pratt (Thomas); his children, Scott (Suellyn) of Indianapolis and Anne (Andrew) of Middleton, Wisconsin.; and his grandchildren, Sydney, Robert, Erik Sorensen, Sam, Alec and Ryan Inman. He is also survived by his children, grandchildren, and extended family.
Current Covid-19 precautions will be observed along with social distancing and current government guidelines.
Other recognitions were Mortar Board Distinguished Lifetime Service Award in 2016, the Lafayette YWCA Foundation Win Hentschel Distinguished Service Award in 2014, and the Boy Scout Silver Beaver and Silver Antelope awards.
