He was predeceased by: his parents, John Fred and Lydia Ida Hannemann (Grand); and his siblings, Pearl VonderHere, Lorraine Linnemeier and Donald Hannemann.
He is survived by: his wife Eleanor Ann Jacobsen of John's Lutheran Church; his children, Robert John Hannemann (Roxie), Laura Eileen Bittner (Brian) and Sarah Lynne Ditmore (J. Todd); his granddaughters, Jennifer Yuill (Hannemann), Emily Jay (Bittner), Katie Bittner-Perez, Julia Bittner, Georgia Lovejoy-Henkel (Ditmore) and Audrey Ditmore; his great grandchildren, Dakota Yuill, Dillon Yuill, Kaylee Yuill, Jackson Jay, Jovie Jay, Eleanor Jay, Keane Perez and Hudson Lovejoy-Henkel; and his sister-in-law Phyllis Hannemann.
A memorial service will be held on Friday, March 28th 2025 at the Redeemer Lutheran Church (510 E Lindberg Ave, West Lafayette, IN 47906).
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions in Bob's name may be given to Redeemer Lutheran Church, IU Health Foundation, Lafayette Rotary Club or charity of donor's choice.
