She was predeceased by: her parents, Chester T. McDowell and Caroline A. McDowell (Oberle). She is survived by: her nephew Charles Anderson (Lucia). She is also survived by 96 nephews, great-nephews and great-great-nephews; 106 nieces, great-nieces and great-great-nieces.
Rita's wishes were that memorials be made to St. Boniface School.
