We are sad to announce that on January 12, 2021, at the age of 76, Richard Alvin McCarter (West Lafayette, Indiana), born in Vincennes, Indiana passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Alvin McCarter and Lida E. McCarter (Durham). He is survived by: his sons, Tony McCarter (Cheryl) of Vincennes, Brad McCarter (Carlene) of Vincennes, Douglas McCarter (Jenna) of Vincennes, Byron McCarter of Martinsville and William "Bill" McCarter of Vincennes. He is also survived by thirteen grandchildren, and thirteen great grandchildren.
