He was predeceased by: his sister Joan Scilacci; his daughter Janet Suja; his grandson Christopher Suja; and his parents, Raymond Rudolph and Marie Connell Rudolph.

He is survived by: his wife Gail Rudolph (Beckman); his son John Rudolph of West Lafayette; and his grandchildren, Andrew Suja, Joe Rudolph and Will Rudolph.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations to The Purdue Foundation-Football Manager Fund c/o the John Purdue Club, 900 John R. Wooden Dr, West Lafayette, IN 47906.
