He was predeceased by: his parents, Benjamin Johnson and Viola Johnson (Emrich); and his siblings, Ruth Smith, Pearl Ott and Everett Johnson.
He is survived by: his wife Diane; his children, Mark Johnson (Cindy), Janet Johnson and Sara Foy (Leroy); and his stepchildren, Dallas Dopko (Angela) and Jason Dopko. He is also survived by 13 grandchildren and 10 great grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, Memorial contributions may be made to St James Lutheran Church Foundation or the Westminster Village Foundation of West Lafayette.
