He was predeceased by: his parents, Carol Hatten (Luther) and Richard M. Hatten Sr.; his brothers, Richard M. Hatten Jr. and Martin B. Hatten; and his nephew Jere Alan Hill Jr..
He is survived by: his wife Lori Kesler; and his sister Karen Sue Hill.
Visitation was held on Friday, January 24th 2025 from 9:00 AM to 10:00 AM at the Simplicity Funeral Care (1608 Schuyler Ave, Lafayette, IN 47904). A funeral service was held on Friday, January 24th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the same location.
