He is survived by: his spouse Kathi J. Anderson Wilson; his daughters, Valeri N. Marinakis, Kristi B. Wilson and San; his grandchildren, Kingston K. Marinakis, Madelyn N. Marinakis and Elizabeth J. Marinakis; his sisters, Gail MacIntyre and Becky A. Craig; his stepmother Judy Wilson of Brook, IN; and his significant other Luanne Watt of West Lafayette, IN.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be given in his name to the Michael David Wilson memorial fund.
