It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Lucille Maris of West Lafayette, Indiana, born in Champaign, Illinois, who passed away on October 11, 2021, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her former husband James R. Maris; her siblings, Gladys Clem, Hazel Richardson, Marie "Mickey" Downing, Dorothy Warren, Robert Carr and James Carr; and her parents, Anthony P. Carr and Elizabeth H. Carr.
She is survived by: her daughters, Cathy A. Maris, Nancy L. Schpero (Fred), Susan M. Clayton (Alan) and Vickie J. Maris (Scott Greeson); her grandchildren, Dan Schpero, Becca Friedman, Scott Schpero, Alan Clayton, Elizabeth Clayton, Andrew Clayton, Emily Marx, Abigail Clayton, Lisa Blackhorse and Brian Clayton; her great grandchildren, Sydney Blackhorse, Kyrsten Pearson-Blackhorse, Lincoln Schpero, Gavin Schpero, Madison Friedman and Beau Schpero; and her spouse Purdue Aviation.
