Family and friends must say goodbye to their beloved Louise Janet Burchby of West Lafayette, Indiana, who passed away at the age of 93, on August 9, 2021. She was predeceased by: her parents, Clara Diesslin and Gustaf Diesslin; and her siblings, Howard Diesslin, Helen Craft, Mary Ann Ross and Paul Diesslin.

She is survived by: her children, Dale Burchby (Virginia), Kathleen Burchby, Marcia Burchby (George Wood) and Rita Goerz (Thomas); her grandchildren, Michael Harrison Burchby Wood (Dayna Clark), Melanie Burchby (Julian Hinderling), Scott Fix (Isabel), Kevin Burchby, John Harrison Burchby Wood (Katelyn Eilbeck), Valerie Burchby (Sean Brust) and Elizabeth Christiansen (Justin Porter); and her great grandchildren, Owen and Eliot Hinderling.

The family requires that all attendees wear masks and be fully vaccinated.

In lieu of flowers, Louise requested that any donations be directed to: St. Andrew United Methodist Church, with memo line designating either "Rest In Peace Medical Debt" or "Wood's Edge Ministry".
