He was predeceased by: his parents, William Byers and Elizabeth Gerrity (Bisel). He is survived by: his wife Phyllis L. Hollis; his son Brandon Byers; his siblings, Terry Byers (Peggy) and Becky Blinn (Jim); his nieces, Jamie Barillas (Edward), Melody Layton (Jon) and Misty Brummet (Jeff); and his nephew Aaron Byers (Angie).
