He was predeceased by: his parents, Arthur Otto and Esther Wilhelmina. He is survived by: his children, Christopher Wott (Bonne), Timothy Wott (Mary Beth) and Holly Wott Black (Steve Black); his grandchildren, Eric Wott, Tyler Wott and Abigail Black; and his friend June Erb-Wott.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made in John's name to either the Washington Park Arboretum Foundation or the John A. Wott Botanic Gardens Endowed Student Award.
