He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Vaughn Foster and Mary Foster (Petry); his wife Frances (Burnham); his children, Cathy Erwin (Jim), Dawna Clawson (Dan) and John David Foster (Lisa); his grandchildren, Jonathan Erwin, TJ Foster, Jason Foster, Adam Foster and Sara Sawrie (Erwin); his great grandchildren, Finley and Rue Erwin; his stepgrandson Zac Hunsucker; and his daughter Julia A. Foster MD (Hunsucker).
