He was predeceased by: his parents, Roger Merimee and Meriam Merimee (Gass); his sister Shirley Bell; and his son Stephen Phelps. He is survived by: his wife Nell Merimee; his daughters, Trisha Petraglia (Scott), Cheryl Bryant and Laura Ohannesian (David); and his granddaughters, Nikki, Kayla, Sophia and Jordan.
