He was predeceased by: his parents, Robert L. Gaunt and Alice M. Gaunt (Myers); his wife Nancy Ann Rupley; and his brother Jerry Gaunt. He is survived by: his daughters, Deborah McCormick (Richard) of West Lafayette, Mary Jayne Steele (Jeff) of Wabash and Tracy Gaunt of North Webster, Indiana; his grandchildren, Leah Sinka (Kristin) of West Lafayette, TJ, Kayla Steele of Lebanon, Erica Bogner (Zack) of Brownsburg, Jessica Cileo (Justin) of Folsom, Angela Grady (Curtis) of Syracuse, Amanda Shoemaker (Curtis) of Pierceton and Whitney See (Ryan) of Warsaw, Indiana; and his sisters, Jane Alexander of Nashville and Janice Wilson of McKinney, Texas.. He is also survived by ten great grandchildren.
