With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Helen Louise Lester of West Lafayette, Indiana, born in Lafayette, Indiana, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on August 8, 2024 at the age of 88. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Ray Shidler and Helen Kerker Shidler; her daughter Brenda Jones; and her brothers, Joseph Shidler, Donald Shidler and Richard "Butch" Shidler.
She is survived by: her husband Richard Lee Lester; her children, Gregory Lester (Deann) and Diane Foster (Bill); and her siblings, Mary Smith and Jack Fleming (Bonnie). She is also survived by 8 grandchildren and 4 great-grandchildren.
