She was predeceased by: her parents, George F. Weimer and Caroline H. Weimer (Fischel); and her brothers, William Weimer, Francis Weimer, Eugene Fuller and Rufus L. Fields.
She is survived by: her husband Frank E. Hessman; her sister Eleanor Sowder; and her children, Dale Fuller, George Fields (Beth), Michael Fields and Wanda Wolfe. She is also survived by many grandchildren and great grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews.
