He was predeceased by: his parents, Paul Gretencord and Lucille Gretencord (Lanie) of Fowler, IN.; his brother Paul Gretencord, Jr.; and his brother-in-law Eric Puetz. He is survived by: his wife Marcia Datzman; his children, Adam Gretencord (Sharon) of Austin, TX, Marcus Gretencord (Misty) of Lafayette, Benjamin Gretencord of Lafayette, Maria Kolbe Gretencord and Mary Villegas (Maurice) of Round Rock, TX; his siblings, Elaine Puetz of West Lafayette, Donald Gretencord (Shirley) of Earl Park and Kathleen of Lafayette; his sister-in-law Karen Gretencord of Fowler; and his grandchildren, Thérèse, Gianna, Cecilia, Brigid, Bernard Gretencord of Austin, TX, Grace, Jonathan, Michael, Juliana and Jacinta Gretencord of Lafayette.
Due to the pandemic restrictions, a private funeral Mass will be held on Thursday, May 21 at St. Boniface Church in Lafayette.
