He was predeceased by: his father Dr. Guthrie Carr; his former wife Catherine Organ; and his wife Betty Knudsen Carr. He is survived by: his daughters, Margaret Garrett (Russ) of Lake Oswego, OR, Carol Kieffer (Ron) of Lima, OH and Catherine Drew (Tom) of Lenoir City, TN; his grandchildren, Jeffrey Garrett, Kathryn Garrett, Kelley Kieffer and Evan Kieffer; his brother Dr. W. Kelley Carr (Patricia) of West Lafayette; his niece Kimberley Carr Shurig (Thomas); his nephew Dr. Guthrie Poorman Carr; and his stepchildren, David Knudsen (Lori), Ellen Russell (Frankie) and Kristina Rizzo.
