He was predeceased by: his parents, William Barrett and Florence Barrett (Zimmerman); and his son Timothy M. Barrett. He is survived by: his wife Loretta E. Heaton; his sons, Adam J. Barrett (Jennifer) of Lafayette and Donald A. Barrett (Melissa) of Phoenix, AZ.; and his grandchildren, Ryne Barrett (Melissa), Amanda McGrew (Chris), Shiloh Partin (Rodney), Blade Barrett (Ashley) and Connor Barrett.
