There were good times and there were bad times, but one thing for certain is there wasn't enough time. The world lost a wonderful man today after a long battle with cancer. He put up an incredible fight, dealt with things that others couldn't imagine. He lived for helping others; an Army vet, 17 years volunteering with Red Cross, in his younger years he volunteered with both fire and police departments. He greatly enjoyed fishing. George said he always wanted to drive a tow truck, Joey Driscol brought him in as part of the family and he got his chance to do just that. Even while wearing his chemo pump, he was still out there helping people.
George is going to be greatly missed by so many! May he rest in peace.
Celebration of Life at a later date. Memorial contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society.
