He is survived by: his wife Rebecca Leamon Thayer (Becky); his son Nicholas J. Bierman of Molalla, OR; his stepdaughters, Tamara Harmon (Adam) of Lafayette, Teresa Vanaman (Mark) of Lebanon and Angela Maynard of Fishers; and his siblings, Richard of Cedar Rapids, Noreen Wright (Joe) of Muscatine, IA, Janet Altman of Ocala, FL and Vickie Cox (Andrew) of Missouri. He is also survived by 12 step-grandchildren.
