He was predeceased by: his son Francis Thomas Flannelly. He is survived by: his wife Rita C. Boyd; his children, Mary Pat Rozwat (Maurice), Theresa Smith (Fred), Eileen Bormann (David), John Flannelly (Kim), Michael Flannelly (Suzanne), Ellen Melloh (Michael) and Patrick Flannelly (Kristin); and his daughter-in-law Lynn Flannelly.

In lieu of flowers, contributions may be directed to Church of the Blessed Sacrament.
