She was predeceased by: her parents, Harvey Ray and Susie Myers Chestnut; her husband Wilbur; her son Gary R. Pershing; her great grandchild Brennen Luke Frey; her great great grandchild Daimon Ray Pershing; and her siblings, Charles Flinn and Barbara Dove of Elnora, IN..
She is survived by: her children, Elwood J. "Woody" Pershing (Debbie) of Seminole, FL, Bruce L. Pershing (Dana) of West Lafayette, IN and Brenda S. Detzner (Tim) of Lafayette, IN; and her daughter-in-law Brenda Gilbert (Allen) of Prospect, KY.. She is also survived by eight grandchildren and 14 great-grandchildren.
