It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Esther Irene Beattie of West Lafayette, Indiana, born in Gary, Indiana, who passed away on August 18, 2022, at the age of 93, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her father Thomas Bencek; her husband Patrick Leo Beattie; her children, Michael Beattie and Irene Beattie; and her siblings, Henry Stanley and Florence Lubsiger.
She is survived by: her daughters, Patricia Fessler (William) of Valparaiso, IN and Kathleen DeFres (David) of Valparaiso, IN. She is also survived by five grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.
