He was predeceased by: his parents, J. W. Franklin and Ella Franklin (Wilson); his wife Mildred L. Maitlen; his daughter-in-law Barbara; and his siblings, Joseph, Charles, Wendell, Wilbur Franklin, Mary Coats, Martha Booher, Louise Franklin, Dorothy Conner (Dixie) and Norma Peterson.
He is survived by: his sons, Michael Franklin (Jackie) of West Lafayette and Steven Franklin of Delphi; his grandchildren, Matt Franklin, Aaron Franklin of Delphi, Erik Franklin (Danielle) of Greenwood, Ginger Miller (Erik) of West Lafayette, Kari Harvey (Matt) of Frankfort, Kassi Jones (Jeff) of Evansville, Kelsey Graupner (Robert) of Guam and Kayleigh Wittenborn (Joe) of West Lafayette; and his great grandchildren, Taylor, Dru, Sierra, Emilee, Ella M., Ella F., Finn, Clay, Kellen, Raylan, Kinley, Kora and Hayden.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Indiana Veterans Home, West Lafayette, in memory of Ted Franklin.
