It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Eileen Rose Steiner of West Lafayette, Indiana, who passed away on November 24, 2021, at the age of 78, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, George "Bud" and Edna Benner (Korbe); her former husband Kenny Weisenberger; and her brothers, Dick, Tony, Charlie and Fred.

She is survived by: her husband Edward L. Steiner; her children, Anne Lumley (Mick) of Lafayette, Sue Gremelspacher (Matt) of Walton, IN, Ed Weisenberger (Cindy) of Fowler, Jason Steiner (Stacey) of Harrison, AR, Neika Smessaert (Jason) of Bremen, IN, Thomas Steiner (Stephanie) of Brownsburg, IN and Matt Steiner (Tommy Erickson) of Portland, OR; and her siblings, Jack Benner, Barbara Shaffstall, Karen Berry, Louise Benner, Kathy Obermeyer, Pat Benner, Sandy Cothran and David Benner.

Memorial contributions may be made to Food Finders Food Bank, 1204 Greenbush Street, Lafayette, IN 47904 or Little Angel Gowns, 562 S Post Road, Indianapolis, IN 46239 in Eileen's memory.
