It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Dorothy Marie Seaman Henke Gillespie of West Lafayette, Indiana, who passed away on December 30, 2020, at the age of 96, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Richard Robert Seaman and Marie Seaman; her brother Richard Seaman Jr.; and her stepmother Ethel Seaman. She is survived by: her husband Robert Henke; her sister Ruth Seaman Cain; her nieces, Kathryn Marie Henke (Robert) and Barbara Henke Felix (Stanley); her nephew Charles Henke (Robin); her grandchildren, Elizabeth Felix Yost (Jamie), Peter Felix, Sarah Henke Caddick (David), Katherine Henke, Lydia Felix Traylor (Nathan), Marie Henke and Mark Felix; her great grandchildren, Isaac Yost, Grace Yost, Jonathan Traylor, Charlotte Nigro and Elena Brown; and her stepchildren, Nancy Gillespie Skowronski (Carl), Hillary "Jane" Gillespie Hadley (Shannon), Susan Gillespie Kunkemoeller (George) and Donna Gillespie Copeland (Mark).

Due to Covid-19, a private funeral will be held on Friday, January 8, 2021, at KISH FUNERAL HOME 10000 Calumet Ave. Munster, IN.

In lieu of flowers, donations to the Hospice of the Calumet Area or to the Share Foundation, Inc. (Rolling Prairie, IN) would be appreciated.
