He was predeceased by: his parents, Dewey S. Ross and Martha Straughn (Bennett) of Kokomo, IN.; his stepfather Rollin Straughn; and his sisters, Julia Paulson and Ruby Jean Gile.
He is survived by: his wife Sally Ross (Sondag); his children, Jay Ross (Sarah), Lesley Mills, Mollie Siu-Chong (Ken), Jonathan Ross and Samuel Ross (Tina Applebee); his grandchildren, Ashta Harler (Vanne), Neil Ross, Ethan Mills, Amelia Ross, Alaura Ross, Oscar Siu-Chong, Penny Siu-Chong and Harry Siu-Chong; his great grandchild Blaire Harler; his brother William; his sister-in-law Annette Maiden; and his sister Marjorie Chapman. He is also survived by sisters-in-laws, brothers-in-law, nieces and nephews.
He spent the final two years of his life as a Federal Small Business loan officer processing loans for businesses affected by the COVID virus.
