He was predeceased by: his parent Virgil L. Vanaman; and his siblings, John "Jack" Vanaman, Marlene Eckman and Patricia Harrington. He is survived by: his parent Virginia M. Vanaman (Weston) of Kentland; his children, John Vanaman (Amber) of Lafayette and Joanna Vanaman (Vance Campbell) of Lafayette; his siblings, Roger Vanaman (Lynn) of Fowler, Tom Vanaman of Lafayette and Beth Justice (Richard) of Kentland; and his grandchildren, Jerah, Jaedan, Jaleigh Vanaman, Ella Bills, Ethan Bills, Kelsie Hipps and Cameron Hipps.
