He was predeceased by: his father Virgel Alvey; his wife Emma Potter; and his sisters, Elsie Baker of Bridgeport, IL and Joann Dees of Equality, IL.. He is survived by: his children, Paula Kingma (Andrew) of West Lafayette, Edward Alvey (Barbara Rotkovich) of Louisville, KY and Raymond Alvey (Debbie) of Noblesville; his brother Harry Alvey of Saline County, IL; and his grandchildren, Emily Mohn (John), Kyle Kingma, Jamie Chai, Spencer Alvey (Karly) and Stuart Alvey (Ali).
In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be directed to the Emma and David Alvey Endowment Fund, St. Andrews United Methodist Church, or your local food pantry.
