She was predeceased by: her parents, Leander H. Moldenhauer and Alice P. Moldenhauer (Freeman). She is survived by: her son James F. Knodle; and her close friend Kathy Cowans.

Mrs. Knodle was a long time member of St. James Lutheran Church where she was past President and board member of the St. James Lutheran Foundation.
