He was predeceased by: his son Charles; and also Chuck. He is survived by: his wife Jane Ring McClure; his daughters, Molly McClure and Megan McClure (Aaron Menefee); his siblings, Jan Guthrie (David) and Michael; and also Mick.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to YMCA Camp Pinewood, where he was a counselor in his youth; the Experimental Aircraft Association, where he was a member for years; or Newtown Community Church, where he was a member.
