We are sad to announce that on June 12, 2020, at the age of 93, Charles A. Whiting Jr. of West Lafayette, Indiana, born in Boston, Massachusetts passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Charles A Whiting Sr. and Martha Elizabeth Harton Whiting; his son Charles Mark Whiting; his grandson Jason Watts Whiting; and his brothers, William Harton Whiting and Richard Earl Whiting.
He is survived by: his wife Anne Watts Whiting; his children, Susan Anne Steigerwald and James Harton Whiting; his son-in-law David Lawrence Steigerwald; and his grandchildren, Peter Charles Steigerwald and Jane Anne Steigerwald. He is also survived by his nieces and nephews.
Memorials may be made to Trinity Episcopal Church of Lawrenceburg, the Indiana Canal Society or the Dearborn County Historical Society.
