He is survived by: his wife Mary Handy; his children, Lee Anne Heath (Jerry), Steve Blignaut (Teri) of Lafayette, John Blignaut (Lori) of Erie, CO, Tom Blignaut (Diana) of Indianapolis and Jim Blignaut of Holly Hills, FL; his sister Estelle Naudé (Peter) of Capetown, SA.; his grandchildren, Justin, Brittney, Erica, Brian, Shelby, Kelley, Kyle, Logan, Paul and Gabriel; and his great grandchildren, Lilliegh, Kendall and Zoey.

In lieu of usual remembrances, contributions may be directed to Blessed Sacrament Catholic Church or Habitat for Humanity.
