She was predeceased by: her parents, Edward Schoettelkotte and Stella Ritzi Schoettelkotte; her husband Lester Kunkel; and her brothers, Charlie and Eddie Schoettelkotte.
She is survived by: her children, Jeff Kunkel (Stephanie) of West Harrison, Randy Kunkel (Diana) of Brookville, Barb Stindt (Bob) of Sunman and Cathy Schuman (Kenny) of Guilford; her grandchildren, Katie Kunkel, Justin Stindt, Kelly Smith (Kevin), Jessica Stindt, Mitch Schuman, Sarah Schuman and Raeanna Kunkel; and her siblings, Estell Gesell, Rita Erhart, Clare McCool, Anna Schoettelkotte, Ellen Rauch, Bernie and Gene Schoettelkotte. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
Memorial contributions may be made to St. Peters Church, St. Peters Cemetery or Holy Guardian Angel Cemetery.
