He is survived by: his wife Sherry Pflum Sauerland; his children, Kimberly Claypool (Kevin) of Cedar Grove, Adam Sauerland (Buffy) of Spencerville and Shelly Fohl (Jason) of West Harrison; his grandchildren, Andrew Merrell (Caitlynn), Mallorie Sittason (John), Carrighan Blevins (Jordan), Sydney, Wyatt Claypool, Grant Weber, Alexander Raptis, Ava, Easton Sauerland, Macie and Megan Fohl; his great grandchild Mia Merrell; and his siblings, Steve Sauerland (Michelle) of West Harrison, Tony Sauerland (Patti) of Batesville and Donna Ketcham (Jack) of West Harrison.
