It is with great sadness that we announce the death of John Vernon Reid of West Harrison, Indiana, born in Cincinnati, Ohio, who passed away on February 10, 2023, at the age of 97, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Wilson Reid and Alpha Reid (McQueen); and his siblings, Gene Reid, Glen Reid, Charlotte, Rose, June and Marie.
He is survived by: his wife Dorothy Pennington Reid; and his children, Peggy Ravenscraft, Larry Reid (Paulette) and Doug Reid (Sondra). He is also survived by seven grandchildren, several great-grandchildren, and one great-great-grandchild.
